Stadionul Municipal Braşov – design description

Construction of the new football-specific stadium in Brasov was planned in 2007. In 2008 renderings were presented and the old landfill-based municipal stadium leveled. However, with insufficient funds the project was brought to a stop before construction could begin.

It wasn’t until 2014 that the first €10 million of the expected €40 million budget was secured, allowing for the plan to go ahead.
