Stadion Falubazu – design description

Redevelopment of the speedway stadium in Zielona Góra started in 2009. In 2010 first new stand was opened in the south-east of the venue, bringing 6,000 new seats. further works started in early 2013, with new straight stand and judges’ tower being delivered.

Evnetually all four stands are to be rebuilt, bringing capacity to some 20,000. According to vision presented in Feb 2013, the stadium will then be covered with cable-supported membrane, based on a steel ring around the venue.
