Tehelné pole – design description
New stadium at Bratislava’s Tehelné pole was projected already in 2006, but despite many declarations and various financing options construction hasn’t started.
Only in May 2013 did the latest project by Cube Design (commissioned by private Národný futbalový štadión a.s.) given the planning permission, allowing it to go ahead. The stadium itself is thought to cost some €40 million, while its cost is to be covered thanks to extensive commercial functions, like a hotel tower, 315 apartments and shopping centre.
