King Abdullah Sports City – design description
Apart from the central stadium there will be tens of other buildings (mostly residential and educational), large indoor hall, covered natatoriums, tennis stadiums, courts, training pitches, marina.
Interestingly, it is to be the first venue in Saudi Arabia that will enable women to watch football along with men. However, not to distract the male contingent, they will be placed in special skybox-alike sections, behind intransparent glass.
