Gradski Stadion Lagator – design description

New Lagator is being built a little further from the site of its predecessor, which was demolished in March 2021. Actual construction works of the new ground began a month later. The stadium will be part of the city's sports complex.

Two-tier, covered stands are to accommodate a maximum of 8,500 spectators, although design options are being considered, with a capacity of 8,000 seats. The west and east stands will seat a total of 5,000 fans. The first one will function as the main stand with VIP zones, a conference room and media spaces. In total, it will have 3 levels of back-up facilities.

It is planned to create 265 parking spots for cars and 2 places for buses. To the south of the stadium, a training pitch with artificial turf will be built. The net area of the new facility is to be 43,000 square metres with accompanying facilities and the height of the venue will slightly exceed 16 metres.
