Parcul Sportiv Dinamo – design description

The proposed Dinamo stadium will be built on the very spot of existing Stadionul Stefan Cel Mare, in northern Bucharest. The building will be created on a plinth under which a 3-floor parking will be created, able to accommodate 1,087 cars. This way enough room would be created for a large public plaza south of the stadium.

Retaining the club’s red colour throughout its façade, the new stadium will be entirely financed by the Romanian government. It’s part of the Euro 2020 scheme and will host training for one of the national teams.

The seating layout will see a large upper tier with 17,350 seats and slightly smaller lower one for 10,350 fans. Also, 20 skyboxes for 2,015 guests and 450 media seats are planned.
