Košická Futbalová Aréna – design description
New football stadium in Kosice is planned in the place of former bus depot along the southern bypass. It will meet UEFA Category 4 requirements, accommodating 9,080 people on single-tiered and covered stands.
Construction is expected to start in 2016 (excavations in 2015) and be delivered by the end of 2017. The entire project should cost €12 million. Financing is secured by local and state authorities (€8m) and the Slovak FA (€4m).
