Houston Football Stadium – design description

The stadium is to be built at the site of former Robertson Stadium, demolished in December 2012. New stands, to be built within a year, are to be rotated to align the new stadium east-west, allowing many of the spectators to see Houston panorama.

Capacity set initially at 40,000 may be subject to expansion to up to 60,000 if need be. Similarly, the premium seating layout may be subject to changes. Some 3,700 parking spots are planned around the stadium.
