Stadion Voždovac – design description

A modest stadium stands atop (4th level) of a shopping mall. Below it are shops, restaurants, cinema and two-level car park. This unusual mix of uses caused Austrian operators to call the mall “Stadion” for its most distinctive feature. But in reality, the commercial and sports uses are completely separate – access routes to the stadium don’t mix with those to the mall.

Project worth some €50 million was initially set to be finished in March 2012, but wasn’t ready until Spring 2013.
