SportPark Częstochowa – design description

The plan foresees a new football-specific stadium for up to 15,000 people built in the Lisiniec Park, just west of Częstochowa’s city centre. The ground is expected to revive Lisiniec and become the core of a new prime leisure destination of the community.

Contrary to most Polish projects, this one was presented by the future tenant, not public authorities. It’s part of RKS Raków’s long-term development vision that should see the club reach top tier of Polish football before it celebrates the centenary in 2021.

Expected to be publicly-financed, the stadium is initially priced at €14 million.
