Nazareth Stadium – design description

Successor of the Ilut Stadium would be built on the hills of Mount Precipice, overlooking parts of the city, becoming one of the largest buildings and thus instantly becoming a landmark. Tabony Architects and Engineers use this kind of exposure to create a unique form.

Its openwork, intricate facade provides an attractive and original architectural form, while also ensuring good natural ventilation and sunlight access to the concourse areas beneath the stands.

The auditorium consists of 15,000 seats spread across two grandstands, connected with pedestrian bridges. The stadium makes use of topography, placing additional floor space in the south, beneath main public plaza.
