Stadion Górnika Wałbrzych – design description

The plan envisages complex revitalisation of the once-40,000-capacity stadium and its surroundings. The ground is retain its historical layout, based on the eastern bank of Góra Parkowa hill.

New main grandstand is to be based on that bank, holding 3,000 seated spectators. Most of the old terracing is to be converted to green slopes for recreation. Opposite the main stand a building with sporting infrastructure is to be created, allowing amateurs and professionals to use the stadium.

Together with new swimming pool and several other sports buildings the stadium is to become the heart of leisure in Wałbrzych surrounded by large green areas.
