PVF Stadium – construction description

The ultra-modern PVF Stadium is inspired by AT&T Stadium in Texas and, like its American counterpart, will feature giant LED screens and a retractable roof. Designed primarily for football, the stadium will have a capacity of 60,000 spectators.

The venue is being built on the south-eastern outskirts of Hanoi, in Nghĩa Trụ Commune, around 20 km from the center of the Vietnamese capital. Construction was officially launched on October 19, 2025, and is expected to be completed by March 2027.

At the same time, another major stadium – Hung Vuong Stadium – is being built on the southern outskirts of Hanoi. With a planned capacity of 135,000, it is set to become the largest stadium in the world. Together, these two megaprojects will reshape Vietnam's football infrastructure.
