Timsah Arena – construction description
Works on the controversial “crocodile stadium” started in June 2011. Tender to erect the huge concrete bowl was awarded to Gintaş, company agreeing to do it for as little as €70m.
Seating configuration in this case is among the most unique worldwide as stands behind goals will be giant single-tiered structures, stand opposite main one will have 2 tiers and the main one – 3. Despite such a dynamic layout all spectators are supposed to have great sightlines.
