Description: Investors Group Field
New stadium in Winnipeg is to replace the Canad Inns Stadium as home of the Blue Bombers in 2013. Initially it was planned to be ready by June 2012, but due to growing delays the deadline has been prolonged.
The venue designed by HOK Sport (later known as Populous) is distinctive for its wavy roof supported by large arches that stand out in the landscape of Winnipeg. End stands are to be left uncovered, enabling temporary expansions with capacity growing to 40,000.
