White Stadium – stadium description
White Stadium was built between 1947 and 1949 using funds from the George Robert White Fund. The stadium is located within Franklin Park, a few miles south of downtown Boston.
The facility features an athletics track and two stands with distinctive semi-circular sections and art deco facades, and it has a capacity of 10,000 spectators. It serves Boston Public Schools as well as the local community.
Between 2025 and 2026, White Stadium will undergo the most extensive renovation in its history. The project includes a complete reconstruction of the stands, including a brand-new east stand; the west stand will retain its characteristic facade, and a roof will be added over the seating areas.
