When was Jieshou City Sports Center Stadium built?

The modern sports complex in Jieshou was constructed between 2021 and 2025 at a cost of 820 million yuan. The core of the facility consists of the stadium and a building housing a sports hall, swimming pool, and fitness center.

The complex was officially opened on January 1, 2026, when around one thousand participants took part in a New Year’s running event that started and finished on the stadium track.

Jieshou is a city located in the northwestern part of Anhui Province. The sports complex is situated on the southern outskirts of the city, in the newly developed Yinguan New Area.

What does Jieshou City Sports Center Stadium look like?

The main stadium features an athletics track, surrounded by a ring of oval stands. The main stand is located on the western side and is the only one with a second tier, as well as an expansive roof made of overlapping segments.

The stadium is equipped with two LED screens installed on the curves and artificial lighting, and its seating capacity is 15,000.

What is Jieshou City Sports Center?

The stadium is part of a larger sports complex and is integrated with a building that houses a sports hall (for 4,000 spectators), a swimming pool, and a fitness center. This building is located directly behind the stadium’s eastern stand, and the two structures are connected by an elevated walkway.

The architecture of this building reflects the style of the stadium’s main stand, particularly its distinctive roof.

Surrounding the main buildings are a training field with a running track, parking lots, and a network of roads and paths, as well as green areas and a water body located to the north. Together, they form the Jieshou City Sports Center.
