Bieberer Berg – historical stadium description

Opened in 1921 it existed for just over 80 years. Initially as a single wooden stand, the stadium was enhanced numerous times. In 1952, 1956, 1960, 1968 and 1973 – step by step – new stands and floodlights were built. Later renovated extensively in 1990's, they eventually failed to satisfy the needs of Kickers Offenbach, prompting the idea of a new stadium to be built in 2008. Dreams came to fruition in early 2011, when the ground was demolished to make way for a new one.
