Stade Prince Louis Rwagasore – stadium description

The ground bares name of former prime minister and independence hero of Burundi, Louis Rwagasore. Thanks to floodlights and one covered stands it’s also the national venue of Burundi, though capacity of 22,000 people is very imprecise – only seats are those in substitute benches and presidential lounge in the central part, all remaining viewers either sit on garden chairs, or simply stand on concrete, often leading to overcrowding.
