Stadion Mariana Paska – stadium description

Literally pressed into the woods in southern Konin, this stadium never got national coverage like the larger Stadion Złotej Jedenastki. And understandibly so, because it only has one landfill terrace that used to hold 2,000 people. Now, with much of the benches removed, its nominal size is 850.

The stadium’s layout is unusual as the grandstand spans over two fields – along the main one and behind the training one. There’s also a third synthetic one, which makes this Konin’s best football complex. And since the demise of local club Górnik, the club continues to play here instead of the larger ground up north.
