Stadion Średzki – stadium description

The new Stadion Średzki was built right next to the old 700th anniversary stadium in Sroda Wielkopolska. The foundation act for the construction of the new facility was laid as early as September 2016. In 2017, the shell of the main stand was ready, but its finishing work, including the furnishing of rooms, construction of the roof or installation of seats, as well as the creation of the pitch, took a few more years.

Finally, the new facility was able to be ceremonially inaugurated on September 23, 2024, although the pitch had already been used. The opening was marked by a match in the 3rd League, in which the hosts, Polonia Środa Wielkopolska, succumbed to Pogoń Szczecin reserve team 1–3.

The new Stadion Średzki is a modest football facility with one stand located on the west side. The capacity of the stadium is nearly 1,100 spectators. The main stand is fully covered, has the necessary facilities for organizing football matches, and has also been equipped with catering and business areas.
