Stadion Chojniczanki – stadium description

Built in 1932 just outside the old urban core of Chojnice, this ground had its best time during socialism. In 1970's even the national team of East Germany came for a friendly against local side Chojniczanka, packing the stands well over capacity. Crowds in excess of 10,000 were happening in those days with some of Poland's most legendary players sometimes appearing here, to name just Boniek or Smolarek.

In the 21st century numerous renovations were carried out to improve its standard. Old terracing has been converted to somewhat limited all-seated sections, 2011 saw addition of partial cover (extended in 2018). In 2015 floodlight masts were added, while in 2019 a media pavilion began dominating the north side, comprising commentators' cabins, camera platforms and conference hall.
