A total of 29 stadiums were opened in 2025 — at least according to our findings. Still, it is possible that one venue has slipped through the net. If you spot a stadium missing from the list, now is the right moment to point it out. Take a look at the venues already submitted to the Stadium of the Year competition and let us know if there is an arena that opened in recent months and deserves to be included.

How to submit a stadium to the Stadium of the Year 2025 competition

Although work on the Stadium of the Year 2025 edition began a year ago, the list of eligible stadiums remains open. Whether the line-up is expanded with additional venues depends on you. The table included in this article will be updated on an ongoing basis as new nominations are reviewed and approved.

There are several ways to submit your proposal: via email, Facebook, X or Instagram. We will carefully review each suggestion and inform you of our decision.

Before sending us your own suggestions, please make sure to review the submission criteria for the Stadium of the Year poll.

You may nominate any stadium that meets all four fixed requirements:

• time criterion (full opening of all stands between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025);
• functional criterion (the stadium must be suitable for hosting football matches);
• capacity criterion (15,000 seats or more);
• scope-of-work criterion (a newly built stadium or one that has been completely redeveloped).

You have until 17 January to submit your proposals. The public voting phase, in which you will choose the best stadium of 2025, will last one month and will run from 10 February to 10 March 2026.
