Lemon Gas Stadium Hiratsuka – stadium description

Formally 18,500 people can be seated at the stadium, but fire regulations restrict capacity to some 14,000 in practice. This is a blow for Shonan Bellmare, who expanded the ground from 10,000 when won promotion to J.League in 1994. Plans to further redevelop the ground were stopped for technical reasons.

In August 2011 first naming rights deal was signed, changing name to Shonan BMW Hiratsuka Stadium until 2014.
