Spain: Colourful Camp Nou, boxes in demand and new FC Barcelona collaboration The opening of the Catalan stadium is imminent and time for construction is running out. Camp Nou is taking on colour literally and metaphorically. What interesting things have Barça fans noticed around the construction of their venue?

A colourful mosaic

In mid-May, from nearby flats facing the construction site, workers could be seen installing the first coloured beams that will form a mosaic in the club's colours, bringing the arena to life from the outside.

Camp Nou will thus not only be a football stadium, but also a distinctive viewpoint in the city. As can be seen in the photos from the construction site, the mosaic will be kept in Barça's main colours; the corresponding beams will be different shades of navy blue and maroon.

New exterior lighting will completely change the appearance of the arena. At night, the stadium will look different, but no less spectacular. True Culés, who are looking forward to the opening of the new arena, spotted workmen from Turkish holding company Limak testing the lighting. According to their reports, the colours of the club's colours will change to various shades of pink and purple.

Boxes almost bought up six months before first game

The club's president, Joan Laporta, is keen to leave Montjuïc as soon as possible, which has reduced Barça's income from ticket sales. The return to the redeveloped Camp Nou is expected to involve around 60,000 fans, players, cranes and stadium works. But as the saying goes, East or West, home’s best. The same view is held by Barcelona's most passionate supporters, who, six months before the first match, have already bought 90% of the newly introduced exclusive offer.

Sales efforts for the new Barça Hospitality proposal, which the club unveiled last October, have been very well received. The 20 VIP suites and 96 lodges in the new stadium have already been sold out. Seat prices range from €45,000 to €87,000 per season, depending on the location. Most of these are long-term deals for 8 to 10 years. Together with the new sponsorship deals, the new premium seats are expected to generate around €120 million in revenue per year.

Chair partnership

The alliance with EHEIM Möbel highlights the Club's commitment to building a new stadium with all the latest advancements that offers the best possible experience to all members, fans and supporters who visit Spotify Camp Nou. Providing maximum comfort and convenience in the seats of nearly 105,000 spectators is key for a facility that aspires to become a benchmark in the world of sports and entertainment said Juli Guiu, vice president of marketing.

FC Barcelona and EHEIM Möbel have signed a sponsorship agreement that sees the leading specialist in fixed seating solutions become Barça's new supplier for two seasons, from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2027. The partnership will not only improve the comfort of stadium visitors, but also set new standards in sports venue design.

The German corporation already has a number of collaborations. The company's products can be found at arenas such as Allianz Arena in Munich, Civitas Metropolitano or famous Maracanã.
