On February 3rd at 00:00 CET (Central European Time), the annual Stadium of the Year competition will begin, allowing fans to select the best stadium inaugurated in 2024. This will be the 15th edition of the contest, which we have organized continuously since 2010. This year, the selection features some of the largest stadiums in the world.

New stadiums join the largest venues globally
Among the 23 nominated stadiums, three have entered the elite group of the world’s 20 largest venues by seating capacity: Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Mas Monumental, and Egypt Stadium—listed from smallest to largest. Will these giants dominate the vote, or will another venue steal the spotlight? One contender to watch is Gewiss Stadium, home to Atalanta Bergamo, which has seen increasing success. It also stands out as one of the few fully completed and successful stadium projects in Italy.
However, there are 19 other stadiums in the running. All nominated venues have been added to our extensive database, where you can explore them in detail. Click on their names in the table below to learn more.

If you’re a Real Madrid fan but happen to love a stadium in Uganda (unlikely, but possible!), we have a compromise for you. Casting a valid vote means distributing all your points strategically. You can allocate 5 points to your top stadium, 4 points to your second favorite, and so on.
The voting opens on February 3rd and will run for an entire month. See you on the voting page!
