Estádio Pina Manique – stadium description

This historical stadium lies just under 2.5km south-west from Portugal’s biggest arena, Estádio da Luz. And though the multi-sport club Casa Pia is just 16 years older than giants Benfica, they never managed to compete in terms of popularity.

Currently their stadium offers spaces for spectators only in the west as eastern and southern embankments are covered with grass. Former running track met a similar fate, now entirely taken by grass. However, there are two modern football training fields just outside the stadium.
