Estádio Campo do Pragal – stadium description

This amazingly located stadium lies just beside the famous Christ the King Sanctuary, along the avenue of his name. It serves the local Almada AC, club functioning on this side of the Lisbon metropolis since 1944.

Thanks to its placing and layout (with only two grandstands), the stadium is open towards the south and east, giving all spectators a panoramic view of Almada and the waters of River Tag’s estuary. Beside the stadium, slightly lower, there is a training field of Almada AC, also part of the precinct.
