Estádio de Machico – stadium description

It’s the third most important stadium on the Madeira island and the most important one to have a running track since conversion of Estadio dos Barreiros to football-specific. It was built in the centre of Machico town in 1996 and in 2005 it was given a thorough redevelopment, including new field, track and main grandstand on the eastern side of the pitch.
