Viktoria Stadion – stadium description

The ground in Prague’s Zizkov district was built in 1903, though the home side Viktoria never earned the popularity of capital city’s largest clubs. No wonder if you look at the stadium – it’s small and packed between dense housing, making it stay a lot smaller than the largest of Prague’s venues.

It wasn’t until 2007 that the stadium exceeded capacity of 5,000 seats thanks to the erection of new southern stand that can take up to 1,000 people. From the start of 21^st century it’s being constantly upgraded so that the club, who also own the ground, could remain here.
