Chance Arena – stadium description

First mentions of this stadium come from the 19th century (!), though back then it wasn’t used for football at all. It served as a shooting range, thus the nickname used by locals – Střelnice. In 1955 new grandstand was built and soon an athletic track with football pitch inside added. At the beginning of the 21st century the ground’s ownership was transferred to municipality, the only institution capable to transform it. One by one stands were replaced by three new, covered grandstands, not around an athletic track any more. Floodlighting and under-soil heating were also added.
