Stadium of the Year 2015: Time to submit your nominees!
source: StadiumDB.com; author: michał
From now until Friday everyone around the world is welcome to submit nominees for the Stadium of the Year 2015 award! Which stadia do you think deserve to be included?
For the 6th time we’re inviting all of you to submit proposals of the mist interesting stadiums opened in 2015. To submit a nominee just comment on this image on Facebook or reply to this post on Twitter.
Each post/comment will be taken into account so there’s no need to propose a stadium when you see someone else has already done so. There’s no limit on how many stadia one person can propose, though. All we’re asking is for the nominees to be proposed before midnight on Friday (CET) 15/01. After evaluation we’ll present the final list during the weekend and invite you to cast votes from Monday (18/01) onwards.
As every year, there are several criteria a nominee has to meet. It has to be a stadium eligible to hold football/soccer games with capacity of no less than 10,000 people. Only venues opened in 2015 will be taken into account (with no less than 1 full-stadium event). They may be either built anew or reconstructed.
