Spain: Camp Nou will regain the club's motto and get a skywalk New visualisations of Camp Nou always mean more changes. This time, the footage confirmed the news of a skywalk, but also certainly positively surprised fans. The stadium will “recover” the famous Blaugrana motto “Més que un club”, omitted from previous visuals. The only disappointment, however, are the video screens.

More than a club

More visuals of the new Camp Nou have appeared on FC Barcelona's social media. Two innovations over previous graphics catch the eye. The first is the return of the club's motto Més que un club (cat. More than a club), the disappearance of which in the previous visuals had upset fans, especially as there was room in the stands for the giant logo of the stadium's title sponsor Spotify.

The latest illustrations show that the club has found room for the slogan Més que un club, opposite which the seats will line up with the club's crest. In turn, the Spotify logo, smaller than before, will be on the Gol Nord and Gol Sud stands.

Skywalk joy and videobaords disappointment

The second change is the new Skywalk which will have a semi-circular shape and spiral finish. It will span from the outside of the third level of the stands all the way above the playing area, offering views of both the pitch and Barcelona's landscape at a height of around 70 metres.

While the Skywalk is generating enthusiasm from Blaugrana fans comparing it to the sky-high terrace at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, the continued presence of three jumbotrons in the visuals is cause for disappointment. The club announced the lack of the 360° screen long ago due to lack of funds, but fans are still hoping for a change in the decision, which is the main argument for recognising the superiority of Los Blancos' arena over the new Camp Nou.

Work is underway on the construction site to complete the metal skeleton of the third level of the stands. The entire stadium, according to the club's Espai Barça website, is already 30% complete. By the end of December, Camp Nou is expected to be handed over to the club with up to 60% of the planned capacity, but work will continue until September 2026. According to Relevo, 1,750 workers are working on the construction site.
