World's largest

Grand Stade Hassan II will be located in Benslimane, east of Casablanca, and its design is inspired by the traditional Moroccan Moussem tents. This inspiration will be most evident in the large roof covering the stands. Not only will it be the largest stadium in Morocco, it will also be the largest in the world, almost doubling the current largest league stadium in the country, Ibn Batouta Stadium, which can hold around 65,000 spectators. The stadium was designed by renowned architecture firm Populous.

A total of 5.1 billion dirhams (approximately $520 million) has been allocated for the construction of this architectural gem and the development of infrastructure in the Casablanca-Settat region. Particular attention has been paid to eliminating any traffic bottlenecks to ensure easy access to the venue for both fans and event logistics.
