World Cup 2030: Spanish media are sure! World Cup final at Santiago Bernabéu! July 31 is approaching, the deadline by which Spain, Portugal, and Morocco must finalize the list of stadiums that will host the 2030 World Cup. Despite there being some time until that day, Spanish media are already confidently reporting on FIFA's decision details.

Everything according to plan

As just confirmed by José Félix Díaz, a journalist from Marca, Santiago Bernabéu will be the venue for the 2030 World Cup final. The conclusions drawn from numerous recent meetings indicate that the final, as desired by FIFA, will be held at Real Madrid's stadium. There is no doubt about this, although at times Morocco seemed to have a slight lead in this race due to issues and doubts surrounding Luis Rubiales.

Excellent relations between Real Madrid and FIFA will play a crucial role in this decision, although it is also true that both parties still need to resolve several unresolved issues. The truth is that the final has always been one of Spain's major goals, and while it may have seemed threatened at times, everything is now under control. To such an extent that, despite having other Spanish venues on the table, the capital city will host this pivotal match.

Will Spain submit up to 13 stadiums?

"We have no intention whatsoever of giving up on hosting the final in Spain, as we have more venues," assure sources close to the federation to OKDIARIO. Therefore, Spain clearly indicates that it will strive to include in the documentation all cities that have timely submitted their bids to the Federation to present to FIFA.

The government considers it important that several venues be considered before FIFA's final decision, as failing to include them by the deadline means they cannot be added at the last minute. At present, Spain has 11 venues prepared and will attempt to include Valencia and Vigo in the bid to expand to 13, although they need to obtain consent from Morocco and Portugal.
