USA: Allegiant Stadium to organize NCAA Final Four The biggest event in the world of US college basketball is coming to Las Vegas for the first time ever. Despite the fact that this sport is normally played in indoor halls rather than stadiums, an event of this scale is sure to bring crowds of fans to the most populous city in Nevada.

The NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Committee have recently selected the hosts for the Final Four tournament between 2027 and 2030. In addition to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, which will host the event in 2028, Ford Field in Detroit (2027), Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis (2029) and AT&T Stadium in Dallas (2030) were also chosen. Each of these venues plays host to National Football League teams on a daily basis. However, given the marketing potential of basketball in the US, playing three games in quick succession should not create problems for local NFL franchises.

It has long been known that Las Vegas is the place to be for anyone looking for a new and unique experience. If you visit a full-figured woman dating site, you might just find the person you are looking for in the gambling capital of the world. For some reason, it is said that “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas”, right?

With the tournament coming to Sin City for the first time ever, it is worth taking a slightly closer look at the profile of the brand-new Allegiant Stadium. The total cost of building the facility reached over $2 billion! It is the second most expensive stadium in the world after SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, which took a whopping $3.4 billion to build. Construction of the 65,000-seater began on November 13, 2017 and took just over 2.5 years to complete, an outstanding result for an investment of this scale. Despite the pandemic, it finished as scheduled, at the end of July 2020.

We are excited to bring the NCAA's premier championship to Las Vegas, a city that for a number of years has hosted numerous championships from several member conferences, - said Chris Reynolds, who chairs the NCAA selection committee. The feedback from leagues, the fans of their teams and the media covering the events staged there has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are confident we'll get the same reviews.

Las Vegas' status in the world of sports grows with each passing year. In 2022, it hosted the NFL Draft and the NFL Pro Bowl, a star-studded showcase game featuring the best football players in the world. The following year will bring the first Formula 1 race in 41 years, while in 2024 Allegiant Stadium will make its debut as host of the Super Bowl. To tell the truth - stuff is happening! It seems that hosting the NCAA Final Four in Vegas is just another step in the expansion of the potential of the venue itself and the city as the center of American sport.
