The owners of American Phoenix Rising FC proved that the stadium can literally be moved to another location. At the turn of 2020 and 2021, they first had their facility deconstructed and then placed in a new location. After 7 months of work, the new arena was ready to welcome fans.

Phoenix Rising FC is currently playing in the USL Championship. This is the second tier of the professional soccer league. However, the club has aspirations to join Major League Soccer in the future.
In 2020, Rising sold out 23-consecutive matches at the previous stadium, Casino Arizona Field. That is why the club's authorities decided to expand the facility. In addition, they chose a new location for it.

Wild Horse Pass Stadium is situated in Chandler, Arizona, on a plot of land in the Gila River Indian Community. The site is located south of Phoenix, near Interstate 10 and Arizona State Route 202. It takes about 20 minutes by car from the stadium to the airport.
The football club and the Gila River Indian Community shared the cost of creating the new venue, but did not make the investment budget public. The facility is part of a larger complex that also includes two training pitches.
The structure of the stadium and the way it was built are interesting. It can be said that the venue was basically moved from its previous location. All thanks to the originally applied modular design solutions. However, after the relocation, significant changes took place at the stadium.

First of all, the club increased the capacity of the stands by 35% and secured the possibility of further expansion. The previously used arena held 6,200 people. The new one has a capacity of 10,000 seats, and the size of the plot allows for the construction of larger stands or a completely new stadium in the future.
Four single-tier stands with built-up corners on the north side can accommodate a larger number of spectators. This solution improved the acoustics of the facility despite the lack of a roof. The stadium also has a tunnel where players line up and get ready to go out onto the pitch.
The club expanded its VIP facilities and premium seats are now located along the entire eastern stand. Previously, they were placed behind one of the goals. In addition, the ease of use of entrances and exits was improved, as well as the quality of the toilets.

A larger press box is available for local journalists. The family-friendly area is located opposite the noisy fan section occupied by the groups of 'Los Bandidos' and 'Red Fury'. The back-up facilities are complemented by new dressing rooms and club offices. The sound system was also modernised.
A massive, double-sided TV screen is installed at the top of the south stand. As a result, live broadcasts of matches, replays and advertisements are available for fans in the stands, as well as in the entertainment and catering area (The Park).
There is a premium parking lot located just right next to the stadium, on its southern side. The paved square can hold more than 1,100 vehicles. There are also two car parks located east of the stadium across the East Loop Road. They can be used by all the fans.
