The reconstructed stadium in Almelo was graded as the best in terms of fan experience. With 97.9% satisfaction level it won the Fan Award.
Dutch supporters apparently are very satisfied with their stadiums, or so the KNVB Expertisecentrum suggests. The body responsible for analysis of professional football ran its annual matchday experience survey among 1,500 supporters.
The outcome overall is encouraging: 93% fans in Eredivisie and 91% in Eerste Divisie are satisfied or very satisfied with their stadium visits.
One club that topped the list is Heracles Almelo, whose reconstructed stadium was graded positively by 97.9% of those surveyed and received this year’s Fan Award. A very close second place (and first in Eerste Divisie) with 97.8% went to NAC Breda’s stadium.
Last year the Fan Award was given to PEC Zwolle.
