It’s been rumoured for well over a year and now is confirmed: Stadion Narodowy and Polska Grupa Energetyczna (PGE) are naming rights partners. Official name from now until October 10, 2020 will be PGE Narodowy.

Poland’s largest stadium is most likely to also have the country’s most valuable naming rights contract. It’s been rumoured in the range of PLN 9-17 million (€2.2 – 4.1m / $2.4 – 4.5m). Official confirmation of any of these figures is yet to come.

Interestingly, PGE is currently still the naming rights holder to PGE Arena Gdańsk. This contract has been the biggest one in Poland to date, set at PLN 7 million annually. That deal was recently prolonged until September 30, which means PGE will have two stadiums bearing its name in Poland for two upcoming months.

What may also be interesting is that both PGE and Stadion Narodowy are public companies. Which means funds from one are transferred to another before being redistributed as revenue to Poland's central budget.
