The economic situation in Spain is still very difficult and this only adds to the disappointment after Celta Vigo's newest ticket pricing announcement. Tomorrow's friendly against Southampton at Balaidos costs €25-50, receiving criticism from the media and fans.

Despite the game being free for season ticket holders, Marca fears empty stands may welcome players tomorrow. Even more, the newspaper envisages poor attendances throughout the season, should the club carry on with their policy. Worth mentioning, Celta was one of the clubs to gain most last year, with a 52% increase in average turnout.

Marca appeals to choose a different path and follow FC Porto. The Portuguese side are Celta's last Sunday's rivals. They set up affordable prices (topping at €25) and received a massive 45,000 attendance in return.
