BioNutria Park Randers – stadium description
The Randers stadium was built in 1961, though nothing of the old structure remains. Three stands were reconstructed in 2006. The main one has a single tier and two levels of skyboxes, while remaining stands are divided into two tiers with space for further expansion.
In 2013 the very last old terrace behind the northern goal was demolished and replaced with a brand new structure, in line with the three already built new stands. As of now, only the south-western corner has no seating for fans.
In its history the ground never hosted any game of Denmark’s national team, but reserve squad and youth national side have played several fixtures here. In 2007 first concert was played by Aerosmith, gathering 23,000 people.
In its final shape the stadium should reach 13,500 capacity.
