Spain: Barcelona launches 2025/26 season passes - one card for two stadiums Barcelona has launched the sale of season tickets valid for both Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys and Spotify Camp Nou once it reopens. Return to Camp Nou increasingly distant

Originally, Barça planned to inaugurate the renovated stadium with the match against Girona on Saturday, October 18. However, on Tuesday the club announced that the game would take place on the Magic Mountain, that is, at Estadi Olímpic. The same applies to the fixture against Olympiacos on Tuesday, October 21 – it will also be held at Montjuïc.

At the moment, there is no official date for the return to Spotify Camp Nou. According to the club, intensive administrative procedures and inspections are ongoing to obtain the necessary occupancy permits. FC Barcelona remains in constant contact with the Barcelona City Council to finalize the required formalities as soon as possible.

When will fans return home?

According to the Espai Barça plan, the first operating license – phase 1A – covers the main stand (Tribuna) and the end stand (Gol), which would allow around 27,000 spectators. However, the club considered that returning with such a limited capacity would not be reasonable. Therefore, the goal is to obtain the phase 1B license, which will increase capacity to 45,000 seats. Only after receiving this authorization does Barcelona plan to return to Spotify Camp Nou.

As stated in the club’s announcement, it will continue working to obtain the necessary administrative permits and expects phase 1B to be approved in the coming months.

One pass for all matches

During this transitional period, Barça has introduced the new Season Pass 2025/26, valid until the end of the season. The pass will cover all men’s first-team matches in LaLiga EA Sports, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League, whether played at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys or Spotify Camp Nou.

The first game included in the pass will be the LaLiga Matchday 9 clash against Girona FC, scheduled for Saturday, October 18. The only exception will be the fixture against Olympiacos on Tuesday, October 21 – tickets for that match are already on sale and therefore not included in the new season pass.

Purchase rules and priority period

Sales began on Thursday, October 9 at 12:00 noon and will remain open until Monday, October 13 at midday. The first 24 hours are reserved as a priority period for members who held season tickets at the Estadi Olímpic during the 2023/24 and 2024/25 seasons.

From Friday, October 10 at noon until Monday, October 13, sales will be open to all other club members who had a season ticket in either of the last two seasons. On the same day, single tickets for the Girona match will also go on sale, with a discount for remaining socios.

Terms of participation

Each member may purchase only one season pass, provided they are up to date with payments and have no active sanctions. The choice of seating zone and ticket type will be made individually, although collective requests can be submitted in groups of up to six members.

If no seats are available in the selected zone, the club will offer an alternative area. All tickets will be delivered digitally, accessible via the Members App or email.

Season pass holders must confirm their attendance for each match at least six days before kickoff. Otherwise, the club will not allocate seats. Exceptionally, for the Girona match, the confirmation deadline is reduced to four days.

The new system also introduces flexibility – a season pass holder may transfer their seat free of charge to another person, provided that individual does not appear on any other transfer request. This process is easily managed through the club’s app after confirming attendance.

In the announcement, the club explained that during the period of limited capacity at Spotify Camp Nou, the permanent subscription status (abono) will remain suspended until the stadium fully reopens. This means that the Seient Lliure service – allowing members to release and resell their seat for single matches – will remain inactive. The relevant balances will accumulate and be settled once full capacity is restored.
