Another permit
Since March 24, the club has had permission to carry out work with machinery both inside and outside the stadium continuously from 08:00 on Monday to midnight from Friday to Saturday. This is the same schedule that was renewed until May 31, after the previous license expired. With the extension of the permit, the construction company Limak, hired by Barcelona, and subcontractors can continue work for 112 continuous hours from Monday to Friday. Saturdays remain working days, with working hours limited to between 10:00 and 20:00. This is the third time the city has granted permission for non-stop work to speed up the stadium's modernization.
Commitment to monitoring
The authorities in the Les Corts district have committed to continuing noise and lighting checks to ensure that levels disturbing residents' peace are not exceeded. Residents around Camp Nou and neighborhood organizations have complained about the noise from machinery that woke them up during the night from Friday to Saturday, outside of the permitted working hours.
An incident occurred between 01:00 and 03:05 on the night of April 5, just before the renewal of the 24-hour work permit, which was set to be valid from April 7 to 30. Videos recorded by some residents show an employee using a polisher to smooth the surface on one of the stadium's corridors, causing noise and dust. The city assures that the extension of the 24-hour work permit was granted after obtaining approval from neighborhood associations.

Potential breach of schedule
The City Council reported that it investigated the potential violation of the established work schedule. The Les Corts district stated that its technical services will check the incident and have contacted FC Barcelona about the matter. In turn, the club stated that it has contacted the company Limak to clarify the situation and prevent similar incidents in the future. The club attributed the alleged violation to an employee of one of the subcontracting companies.
