On 1 May, the first Barça Sky Tour will take off - literally. On that day, a group of tourists will inaugurate a new FC Barcelona attraction - a helicopter flight over the Catalan capital. En route, they will fly over the club's training city along with Estadi Johan Cruyff, see the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys along with the entire Olympic complex on Montjuïc Hill, and check out the effects of the ongoing work at Camp Nou from the sky.
A single ticket costs €289 and a maximum of six people will fit on board the helicopter. However people weighing more than 110 kg must buy two seats (and so will pay €578), and those weighing more than 180 kg can’t board at all. The flight itself will take 12 minutes, but the price also includes round-trip ferry transport to the heliport. The tour will be captured on video, which passengers will receive after the trip along with a ticket to the club's museum.
The Barça Sky Tour is yet another addition to FC Barcelona's offer, which has had to undergo a metamorphosis since work began at Camp Nou. The main attraction, the Barça Immersive Tour, is located in the sports city. In addition, the club offers fans:
- a viewpoint on the Camp Nou works
- The Match Day Tour at Montjuic
- The Players Experience - a tour of the Joan Gamper training city
- The Barça Virtual Dream - a virtual reality experience allowing fans to see football through the eyes of a Barcelona player
