The first works are already in progress
Debris has already been removed from inside the stadium, and the process of applying a cement primer coat has begun to level and prepare the surface for further renovation work. Areas showing signs of wear, cracks, or concrete corrosion in the nearly half-century-old stadium are being repaired. The work is being carried out by the club's maintenance team, who, using a lift, are smoothing the surface before applying a coat of paint. It is worth noting that all these activities are part of the first phase of four, which Elche announced during the presentation of the Estadio Martínez Valero renovation project.

How will the stadium change?
The project is being handled by IDOM, and the renovated Martínez Valero will feature a white façade with a green stripe symbolizing the club's colors. A roof will be added to the main stand, and the VIP box area in the Preferencia section will be expanded. Changes are also planned for the parking area to provide as many spots as possible for season ticket holders.
Elche CF aims to transform the stadium into not only a sports venue but also a vibrant place for daily life. Between the outer façade and the stadium walls, there will be a space for walking and visiting dining and entertainment establishments located on the lower levels of the facility.
