Who will win the contract?

Two companies have submitted bids to win the contract for the assembly and maintenance of a modular football stadium, where Real Zaragoza will play from next season during the construction of the Nueva Romareda. The companies are Nussli and OHLA. The contract, valued at €14.3 million, will be financed by Nueva Romareda (a company formed by the Aragon government, Zaragoza city council, and the club) and includes the construction of the stadium at the North Parking lot, its maintenance for 26 months, and its subsequent dismantling.

Nussli is an international company specializing in the construction of semi-permanent and removable structures for sporting events. It has partnered with Aragon-based construction company Mariano López Navarro, known for participating in public tenders and specializing in large infrastructure projects. OHLA, on the other hand, is currently carrying out the first phase of work at La Romareda, including the demolition of the old Urban Planning Board and Gol Sur sector, as well as foundation work.
