Despite planned capacity increase of almost 30%, AFC Bournemouth home stadium will remain the smallest throughout England’s Premier League.

AFC Bournemouth is hosting a public exhibition for local residents and supporters, informing them about Dean Court (Vitality Stadium) expansion plans. The project includes a new south stand with additional corner sections.
Vitality Stadium, which has the lowest capacity of any top-flight club at only 11,464, will reach 14,529 after expansion. The covered grandstand will hold 4,559 people and will still see the stadium at the bottom of Premier League capacity table.
But even if it would be low for top-flight standards, the expansion is direly needed in Bournemouth.
"It is great news for the football club. We are aware that we have too few seats for all supporters -- I get a lot of letters saying people need tickets and it's been really difficult at times to turn people away from the ground, so this will go some way to bridging that gap," manager Eddie Howe said at a news conference.
