Yesterday’s game against Zulte Waregem was the first with new ‘fourth stand’ at Daknamstadion. The stadium is now able to hold 12,000 people.

It’s 72-meter long and 16-meter high. The new south stand of Daknamstadion ends years of anticipation to fill the empty end. All of its 2,953 seats are designated for young fans. Annual ticket for a place here is only €70, a very affordable price compared to domestic and international rivals.
The stand was built with steel prefabs along the design of AB Tribunes. This Dutch company recently delivered new stands in Cluj (Romania) and earlier in Mainz (Germany). While most works by AB Tribunes are temporary, the mentioned structures have a much longer lifespan.
Aside from building the south end, Sporting Lokeren also invested in floodlight upgrade (from 1,200 lux to 1,500) and a new visitor section – another new section, this time for 350 people and without a roof.
