It dominated the local landscape for almost 60 years, but is no more. Canad Inns Stadium has been demolished after three months of intensive works.

In exactly three days it would have celebrated its 60^th anniversary, but that's not happening as the massive steel structures were dismantled after some 3 months of intensive piece-by-piece demolition.

Already next year a new retail complex called 'The Plaza at Polo Park' is to be opened here and on surrounding plots, while Blue Bombers are already playing at their new Investors Group Field.
