Ventspils stadions – stadium description

The stadium stands at the heart of Latvia’s most universal sports complex. Aside from the football/athletic venue opened in 2005, there’s a set of tennis courts, skatepark, basketball arena and swimming pools.

The stadium itself is equipped with one fully-covered stand, which doesn’t supply all of the necessary infrastructure. However, one of the remaining parts of the complex is of help, standing just south of the stadium. Interestingly, synthetic and floodlit turf of the stadium is temporarily made available to citizens for free every year.
